Plus ca change....

So, i was away about 1 year. In some ways, there's been a lot of changes, and in another way, no changes.

The moon mining changes have been good, I think. It certainly gives people some more opportunities at content because people have to show up and put their mining fleets at risk to take the cash out of the ATM. They of course have a billion billion supercaps lurking one cyno away, but as long as you aren't dumb and just go in to gank a few Retrievers, who cares if you lose some Catalysts? So, tickybox.

We'll see what the addition of moon goo to wormholes does. it's actually about time, I think. People mine little enough in wormholes as it is, so I think it's a bit overblown to say that wormholes will become a moon goo paradise; a few will make out like bandits, but most moons will go without harvesting. Which is about where wormholes sit at the moment with respect to site running.

As for ships; the upcoming march balance pass is way overdue, and way too mild for most of the ships to make a difference. There are still some severe problems with the Cyclone vs other battlecruisers, even though the DPS boost will help. Like, an active brawling shield tanker which can fit two missile systems which are useless at brawling frigates, and deficient at brawling other battlecruisers that can tank better (Brutix, eg), and doesn't have the ability to tank their DPS withut ridiculous faction modules? Yep, same old Cyclone, just a bit more ganky. Great.

Still...better than nothing, I guess.
